Who we are

Springcart Farm is a family farm run by the Rumble family in Weabonga, New South Wales, Australia. We breed alpacas, Black Angus cattle, Miniature Galloways and goats, and we welcome visitors to the property.

This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we keep it safe, and what your rights are. We have written it in plain English so you do not need a legal background to understand it.

What information we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us through the enquiry form on this website. The form asks for:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your reason for getting in touch (for example: buying an animal, farm visit, or general enquiry)
• A free-text message where you can tell us more

All five fields are submitted together when you click "Send message". We do not collect any information automatically from your browser (no cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting).

We also collect your IP address at the time of submission as a standard security measure to protect against spam. We do not link your IP address to your identity for any other purpose.

Why we collect your information

We collect your contact details and enquiry for one reason: so we can reply to you.

Depending on what you asked about, that reply might cover animal pricing and availability, farm visit times, directions to the property, or answers to your questions. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with other businesses.

How we store your information

When you submit the contact form, your information is sent securely (via HTTPS) and stored in Cloudflare's key-value storage service. Cloudflare is a United States company that operates data centres globally. Your data may be stored in or processed through servers outside Australia.

Cloudflare is certified under recognised security standards (ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II). Their privacy practices are available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

We also receive your enquiry directly by email, which is processed through Microsoft 365 (Outlook) and stored in our email account.

We keep enquiry records for up to two years. After that point, we delete them. We will delete your record sooner if you ask us to.

Website analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are most popular. This service is privacy-friendly by design: it does not set any cookies on your browser, it does not track you across other websites, and it does not collect or store any personal information about you.

The data we see is entirely aggregated (think: "200 people visited the alpaca page this week"). There is no way for us to identify individual visitors through this service.

Because no cookies are used and no personal data is collected, no consent banner is required for analytics under current Australian law.

Who can see your information

Your enquiry is visible to the Rumble family and, where necessary, to Big Bear Agency (the developer who built and maintains this website). Big Bear Agency handles your data only for the purpose of maintaining and supporting the website and does not use it for any other purpose.

We do not share your personal information with any other third party, advertiser, or data broker.

Your rights

You can ask us to do any of the following at any time:

• Show you the personal information we hold about you
• Correct any information that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your information from our records

We will respond to your request within a reasonable time, and no later than 30 days. We will not charge you a fee for making a request.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new features to the website. If we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We will not notify you individually unless we are required to by law.
